Best Laptops under Rs 30,000 in India for July 2020

Budget laptops are getting better and offering more value for money with each iteration. Unlike smartphones, if you need a good laptop, you will have to spend at least Rs 25,000 for a decent laptop, and spending a little extra gets you a significantly better machine.

If you are in the market looking for a decent laptop under Rs 30,000, we have listed down some of the best laptops under Rs 30,000 available in India currently. These are best suited for light to medium tasks like web surfing, emails, and handling documents. These are best suited for a college student or a teacher who is taking classes online and for those who need a laptop for casual use.

However, there are a few compromises at this price point — lesser RAM, slower HDD storage, VGA camera, and CPU. However, you get at least 4GB RAM in this segment and some of the laptops even offer an additional slot to expand RAM.

What to expect under the sub-Rs 30,000 price range?

The best processors you can hope to get in this range are the Intel Core i3 (8th gen) and AMD Ryzen 5. There are a few that also have dedicated graphics. And more often than not, you’ll find 4GB of DDR4 RAM tagging along with 1TB of storage. The maximum display quality available in this segment is Full-HD.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145 comes with a sleek design and a powerful CPU. It’s thin, lightweight (1.85kg) and an overall good product which can be an ideal choice for not only students but also IT professionals because of the good processing power. It’s also got a great 15.6-inch Full-HD display with a 180-degree hinger. It also has anti-glare technology which is great to see at this price point.

This is as good as it gets under the Rs 30,000 range. If for some reason, you don’t want an AMD CPU, you can opt for the Intel Core i3 (8th gen) model as well.
